To Tom's Daughter......Was out of town when your dad passed away and unable to personally express my sympathy and offer condolences. When I returned home, I must admit, I completely forgot to acknowledge his passing, because of personal issues...however this evening my son told me he graduated with you from Holy Family School and asked if I knew a "Mr. Salisbury"....that reminded me I had been remiss in not acknowledging your losing your dad, who was one of the most kind, classy, caring,...

A great pilot and a great person who I was fortunate to have as my pilot. Cool calmn and and confident in any situation.

Dear Claude, Anne, and family, I just learned of your loss at Mass this morning. Please accept my heartfelt prayers for you and you family. Thomas will be remembered by anyone who spent five minutes in his presence as a kind, gentle and thoughtful man. May God grant you peace in knowing that you lived out your love for him every day of your lives and that he now lives in the presence of the One who taught us all what love is.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Tom once at Sam and Joanne's wedding; but he was an unforgettable gentleman whom my husband and I always remembered fondly. I was saddened to hear of his passing. May your memories help comfort you at this difficult time.

I want to express my condolences to Tom's family who I never had the opportunity to meet. I am the oldest of the Clifford kids who lived next door to Tom's parents in Bradford PA. What wonderful people! My fondest memory of Tom was when I was 20 years old and backpacing through Europe in 1962. Tom was nice enough to put me up in his apartment for a few days at his parents request. He also gave me an old tux which I used through out my high school years.

Your father lived a story-book, romantic novel of a life. It is amazing. A true, courageous hero, intellectual, loving husband, father and community member. My deepest condolences to you and your family Anne.
