It is very true that Tom's presence in our community will surely be missed. He always had a smile and a kind word whenever your paths crossed. The last time I spent time with Tom was earlier this year when he shared a room at St. Joe's with my brother. Even though his prognosis was bleak, Tom maintained a positive and brave front.
