Thomas Bert Schaffner

I recall this cute couple: the big football player and this dainty petite side kick Georgia. Tom was a very nice teenager, polite and well mannered. They were a perfect match. Georgia was equally well mannered and very pretty. Both had lots of friends. Our high school football team was made up of strong, athletic guys. Tom was a leader and he set good examples of work ethic and politeness when appropriate.

Georgia, I was saddened to learn today about Tom's passing. He was a good man, and I count it a privilege to have known him.

Dear Georgia and family, May the Dear Lord wrap you with his love and compassion.. I know this is a tough time. Tom was a good man and will be missed. My head is swimming in such fun memories of you two when we were at Permian.

I only met him twice, so I didn't really get to know him. We think we have all the time in the world. God's blessings on you and your family. It would seem that you were granted a blessed life while you had Tom.
