Not sure what to say?

Dear Linda & family,

I only recently found out about Tom's passing. I worked with Tom in the cardiac intensive care unit at St. Joe's for five years. I was in the Army for six years so Tom & I always spent hours talking whenever I worked the day shift. He was a wonderful man and a great and caring nurse. I will always miss him, but the time we spent together will always keep him living in my heart and mind. Rest In Peace my friend!

I only found out recently that our friend had passed away. Tom will always be a treasured gift to our family and we will never forget his loyalty and generosity. It was and always will be a great honor to call him a friend of our family. It is with a heavy heart that I express my deep gratitude to Linda and the kids for sharing your husband and father with us all.....he has left a permanent mark on our hearts.

Semper Fi, Marine! I will miss seeing you run carrying the flag. You were not only a patriot, but a South Saint Paul icon. I think multiple generations of us remember seeing you make the beat daily carrying the colors, and running all the way. Truly, it was an honor and a privilege to have known you.

I have many fond memories of Tom from living a few houses down the street. He was a blessing to all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. My condolences, Maria

I also went to nursing school with Tom in 1970, worked with him at Divine. Ran the same TCM when he came in with the flag. There is nothing more I can add that hasn't been said. It was my pleasure to have even known this man!

Mrs.Schepers,
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband. I remember growing up as a kid and seeing him running in the area holding his flag. I thought it was so cool and I would ask my parents to honk the horn and get so excited cause I knew who he was. I hope all the wonderful memories will help you and your family get through these next days, weeks and months. Sending my prayers. Love, Beth Leahy

You will be missed at TCM. Bless you for all you have completed. Leroy Stanislowski>

Farewell Marine. Semper Fidelis.

If the Army and the Navy
Ever look on Heaven's scenes,
They will find the streets are guarded
By United States Marines....Semper Fi, rest easy!
