Thomas Scher

I've written in these obituaries for our mom and dad. I shouldn't be writing in this for my awesome little brother. It's so wrong. I miss you and love you so much. I wish you were here every day and I have stories I want to share with you pretty much daily. I miss our talks, our texts, our many non-intellectual debates (my fault), and seeing you grow into such an incredible man. I love you.

Starting a new year without my little brother is something I will never get used to. I miss you so much and it sucks not having you here. Nothing feels "normal" without you. Going through the holidays without at least talking to you will never feel "normal". You are so incredibly loved. I make wishes in the local fountain with you in my heart. I'm so proud of the man you became and I love you forever.

Thom changed my life. He hired me back in 2011 to be a full-time illustrator. I'm deeply saddened for what happened. I will treasure you forever Thom. Thank you for everything.

I am so sorry for your loss. Thom was in mock trial with my son at MVHS and was also our neighbor in La Cresta. He was definitely tenacious and passionate in his endeavors. I´m in awe of his accomplishments! I´m hoping you will always feel his presence and his memory will comfort you.
