Thomas F. Schindler

What a dear and long time friend and colleague Tom has been! There are so many memories to treasure about him at Aquinas College as he taught for many years in its graduate program, The Aquinas Institute of Religious Studies. Lives have been touched and formed by Tom's goodness, his faith, and ability to 'stretch' the soul and mind. With gratitude I thank God for the gift of life given to all of us through Tom.

I have loved Tom as a relative and grade school companion and as a colleague in ministry for many years. His death leaves a gap in my heart, as well as in the many who have respected and cared for him over the years. I pray for his eternal rest in the Lord's kingdom!
