What a wonderful and joyous man Tom was. Such a loving husband and so engaged in the lives of his children. I am certain his smile and fun spirit will be missed by his family, friends, and colleagues. I'm sure he will be talked about on a daily basis and especially at the family table. I'm so sorry to hear of your father's passing, especially so soon after losing your mother. It sounds like your parents created a wonderful life for you all, and I hope that the love and family bond they fostered will give you strength and comfort in the days ahead.

Schramm children, I am so very sorry for your loss. Your dad sounds like a terrific guy and I know you will carry many wonderful memories with you always. I had to smile over his lesson to always arrive 15 minutes early. This is a lesson my husband also has tried to instill in our kids. Your continued connection to each other to share these memories and maintain that family bond will be your parents' legacy.
