Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Schriber and Family, Please accept my deepest condolences. I had the privilege of being a student in Prof. Schriber´s BIT 512 and 513 classes, and later served as his grader. He was not only an exceptional teacher but also a kind and generous mentor. After returning to Hong Kong, I regrettably lost touch with Prof. Schriber-life became a balancing act between family and work. I wrote to Prof. Schriber in December 2024 but didn´t hear back. Knowing how prompt and thoughtful he...

Dear Ann and Family, I was so sorry to learn of Tom's passing. Please know you are all in my prayers. John & Nancy Wieden

Dear Ann and Family: We are so sorry to learn of Tom's passing. The many years we have known the two of you bring cherished memories, especially the dinners we shared in your home and ours. Tom was a bright light in this world; he gave of himself and bettered the lives of many through education and charity. He lives in the memories of all who knew him. With our deepest condolences and loving hugs, Marty and Beth

Dear Ann, We are so sorry for your loss of Tom. He is not lost. He is with you and in you and in your kids and grandkids. We will always remember him as a kind, good, and fun man. Take care. Love, Cathy and Tim

Mrs. Schriber and family, I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you all during this difficult time. Hold onto all the memories that you have shared over the years. I have some fond memories to look back on with your family when I used to babysit all those years ago. All my best, Paula Dew Gomoluch

During my M.B.A. studies at the University of Michigan Business School, I took his class in GPSS Simulation, from the one who literally wrote the definitive book on that computer simulation language. Tom was a very helpful member of my doctoral dissertation committee, and when I had questions, he could point out the best ways to use GPSS to build...

Ann, I just learned of Tom's death from some mutual friends. My heartfelt condolences.

Tom was a life-long colleague. I always felt better after talking with him: ever encouraging, never down. Knowing him is a gift. The true gentleman and scholar.

Dear Ann, Sending my sincere condolences to you and your family. May Tom's memory be a blessing to you all.
