I was honored to work with Tom and even more honored to consider Tom a dear friend. I read this list of condolences offered by some of the finest men who ever served at HPD, and I am deeply saddened to consider how many of us now grieve the loss of our great friend. May the peace of God be with your family until you see Tom again in Heaven.

My deepest condolences to the family. My dad Mario Martinez and Mr Schulte were very close friends. I know he will miss you Mr Schulte, and we will miss seeing you at our family events.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Tom's family. "Tommy" was our neighbor and childhood friend. We lived next door to his grandmother and were together every day of our childhood times.
