Not sure what to say?

I just found out about this website recently and I must apologize for the delay in my thanking you all for your kind words about Tom. I don't think I ever saw anyone who was more dedicated to his job and the people he worked with. He hated to have to retire; I think he would have worked forever. He was a truly good man and I will miss him forever.

Thanks to everyone for all the kind words that have been sent. Dad was the hardest working man I have ever had the honor to know and it makes me feel great to know that other people were touched by his humor and work ethic. The world is less without him. Please continue to send comments/memories about the Big Guy.

Jackie,

Tom was one of my favorite bosses. He told it like it was and worked hard all the time. He made us laugh and made us think. He made us work hard, and he made us good at profession. I hope he enjoyed being around us as much as we did being around him while he was in Fort Wayne. Lunch at the Venice or the Olive Garden are not the same with talking to my friend.

Miss You Tom.......

Jackie,
I really enjoyed working for and with Tom. I say working with because when work needed to be done, he had no problem rolling up his sleeves and doing whatever it took to get the job done. I have a lot of respect for Tom. We that worked with him have missed him for years. Now I hope there’s some way you can find comfort in your loss.

Please accept my deepest sympathies on your loss of a wonderful man. I always enjoyed working with him in the South Bend Market, and he will continue to remain in my thoughts and prayers. Carolyn Geruc, DPSG

Not only was Tom a great boss, he was also a good friend. He was always there with a big smile and a helping hand. He will be greatly missed. Keith Fassett, South Bend.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

sorry for your loss. Brad langbehn drpepper snapple group

Jackie, Tom was much loved and will be missed. May God bless you and your family with his peace... you will be in my prayers
