Tom, with Cyndy, was a neighborhood leader in efforts to get the golf course behind our homes reopened. Our efforts bore no fruit, but not because Tom didn't inspire us to try everything we could. I'll remember him for that, but also for just what great next-door neighbors he and Cyndy were. Their annual New Year's Eve parties brought the neighborhood together and welcomed new folks.
