As Chaplain of ASMA I write this on behalf of all our members to express our condolences on your loss. I was so saddened to read of Lee's passing, and regret that I have not kept more in touch during the last 3 months. We will all keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Jane Ann & family, you are in my thoughts & prayers. I am sorry to hear of your loss. I will never forget the fun times @ AAMA National Convention in NC we all shared with Lee. I know he will be greatly missed. Deepest sympathies.

Thomas Lee Shannon answered to many different names but I called him something special. I called him Daddy. I wanted so badly to say something at the memorial service but I know that I would not be able to get through it so, I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you a few things about him. When he was born he weighed a mere 2 and 1/2 ponds. My Grandmother was told that he would die. He fought and he lived. He was sent to VietNam where he fought and he lived. He was diagnosed with...

To Jane Ann, Lee Ann and Karen-

It is with a very heavy heart today that I recieved the news of Lee's passing. I have so many fond memories of him. His willingness to help a young man set out on his career, start a new family, etc. is beyond words for me. I've never met a person in all my walks that was so giving of himself. I celebrate his life this evening and wish for his family a time of healing. May God truly bless you all and be with you in this time of loss.

I've never met anyone who lived their convictions like Lee did. He was a wonderful friend for a long time who always seemed to know when his love, concern, and advise were needed, and I got a lot of all of them over the years. I will miss him very dearly, and my thoughts and prayers are with all of his girls, and their families.

My friend forever ! Larry Rogers

We lost a good man with Lee. He will be missed. Our prayers are with you at this time.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
