Send FlowersThomas Shermer, 78, of Hartford, CT passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Hartford Hospital. Tom was born in Hartford, CT and was the son of the late K. Walter and Bertha (Skau) Shermer. He was a self-employed painter for many years and loved sports, fishing, hunting, NASCAR, and especially music.
Tom is survived by his sister, Barbara Rosborg, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers William Shermer, K. Walter Shermer Jr., and his nephew K. Walter Shermer, III.
Funeral service for Thomas will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 12 p.m. at the Dillon-Baxter Funeral Home, 1276 Berlin Tpke., Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford, CT. So sorry to hear of Tommy´s passing. he was a great friend for a lot of years. We had many great times together and he will be truly missed. I was lucky enough to see him in September when I came up to visit. When I think of all the concerts that we went to and the ice fishing expeditions it makes me remember the good times that we had.
