To the Shirilla Family, on behalf of the entire Facility Staff at University of Michigan Health| West I wish to extend our christian sympathy on your loss of a great man. Tom was always a voice of calm and sage advice. He is already missed by our team. May God hold you all and him the hollow of his hand. Patrick Morrow

So sorry Heather and family. Have known Tom my entire life. A very kind and giving man.

Thomas, JJ & I have been part of a small team over the last 12 months. I really enjoyed working with and learning from Thomas. Even more than that though was what he was always doing for the community - especially the United Way. Thomas was an inspiration. He will be missed!

Sending condolences to Heather, Tom's daughters, friends and family- I too am shocked to see this sad news. It didn't matter if I ran into Tom at work, or tailgating at a Lions game, it was always enjoyable to chat and hear his laugh. RIP Tom, you will be missed-

Tom you are my oldest and closest friend, and we have been through a lot. We´ve had many firsts and a couple of lasts together. It´s been quite a journey and I´m proud to to have taken the ride with you. You will be missed.

Family & Friends, I am very saddened by our lost, Tom was a very special and caring person, he will be missed. I will hold the fond memories of your friendship and times we had during our years at Consumers Power/Energy. May our memories live on and bring you and your family peace. Cherish Your Memories, With Deepest Sympathy

I´m saddened to learn of Tom´s passing. Over 15 years we worked together, Tom was a pioneer with leading various challenging projects associated with customer focused electric supply and renewable energy. It was a pleasure to have worked with him and benefitted from his experience and insight.

May God bless you and your family in this time of Sorrow. My sympathies go out to your entire family.

I am totally taken back by seeing that Tom passed away. I enjoyed working with him on the Green Generation projects. We had a running joke between us because he would call me at 4:00 pm, just before I was to leave for the day . My deepest condolences to you and your family.
