Not sure what to say?

My family was blessed to have Brother Shockley as our pastor at the Meadowlawn Church of God. He was a very kind and caring pastor. I will never forget all the time he spent with the youth of the church.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Jean & Family, I am so sorry to hear of Brother Shockley's passing. He was very special. I have such great memories when we all attended Meadowlawn Church. We are thinking of you all at this difficult time. We love you. Love Pam & family

Dear Jean, Gary, Ronnie, Teresa, Beth, and family,
The memories I have of Bro Tom are happy ones, from my first experience with "Brain Freeze", watching Tom eat homemade ice cream he had just cranked, too fast, to hosting 4th of July and New Year's Eve parties where everyone was always made to feel welcome. Church services were special with his heartfelt singing. He preached and lived with a sincere love of the Lord and left an everlasting impression on my life. It was a pleasure and...

Jackie, Vickie & Jonathan with Tom & Jean, Jess, & Teresa 2005

Every phone call that I made to him, or he made to me was prefaced with the question: "Hey preacher, how ya doin?'. Bro. Shockley made an impact on our lives from the very moment that we met. He married Vickie and I back in 1976 on Dec 31st in Middletown, Ohio and I became licensed and ordained at the Field's Ertel Rd Church in Cincinnati, and he was right there to mentor and help me through those times. Since then, we kept in touch over the years and were involved in different ministries and...

Uncle Gary, Ronnie, Teresa and Beth,

We are so sorry we were unable to make it down this week to be with you. You have been in our prayers often over the past few weeks.

It is such a blessing just to read of all the ways your Dad (Bro. Tom) influenced the lives of so many, for CHRIST! Even getting to hear from Jodie how the service went today is a testiment of the life lived and the Savior mirrored. Thank you for continuing this Godly heritage.

We love you and...

Bro. Shockley was a man of God. He influenced our lives from the moment we started at Fields Ertel Church of God. He brought us closer to God and showed us what it really meant to be a Christian.
He was our Pastor then and we still consider him our Pastor now.
We love & respect him always and know that heaven is a little brighter.

Our hearts & prayers goes out to the family.

Love
