I will deeply miss our 75+ years of friendship, and in particular the past few years of cocktail hour conversations by phone, reminiscing about growing up in Freeport, parties at the farm and friends we both enjoyed.

I have fond memories of every time I was with Tom. I especially remember when Tom & his daughter Eva came to my retirement ceremony from the Navy in Key West. They helped make the weekend forever memorable for me, my wife and children, Tom Melville.

I rented a place at Camelot South Apartments on 17th Street in 1980, from Tom. The office was on the land in front of the apartments. He was there for me when my father passed away...I moved up from Miami soon after I graduated from college.
