Thomas Shope

I´m so sorry for your loss. I learned of Mr. Shope´s passing today when I saw the scholarship article in the Lewistown Sentinel. What a wonderful gift to the students of Juniata High School. I knew Mr. Shope from the time I was a little girl because he roomed at my grandmother´s house during his years as a teacher. He was also my geography teacher. He treated my grandmother with much kindness, especially after the passing of my grandfather, and he kept in touch with her after his retirement....
