Darling Donna and Family,

I just dropped off a note at your home on 33rd.

Just in case that does not reach you at this difficult time, I hold you in my heart.

The Washington State Veterans Cemetery extend our deepest sympathies to the family of Thomas M. Shore for your loss, to honor his service to our country and our patriotic hero.

I met Tom on the RR in '67. We were new switchman & not with full time work so we partnered as 2 handyman doing odd jobs & became good friends. I learned a lot from Tom, & had lots of fun in ol' red truck. We were regulars at Dick's. We each owned apts right next to each other, & had our mothers manage them. So we often saw & supported each other. Tom was always there when I needed help with something. Barby & I send our condolences to all the family.

Met Tom after moving over here in 1967 while working for Great Northern. Liked him at first and liked him ever since. A truly fantastic man. Still remember that old beat up hat he wore at work.
