Dr. Thomas E. Simkins

Some of us live two lives. The person we know at home as a father, neighbor and friend a person at work. I worked at Watervliet Arsenal from 1968-1978. Tom was a very bright and personable colleague. In addition to his technical contributions I recall our talks about sailing and sports cars. I think Tom had a 1963(or so) Triumph. And I think he had a sailboat on Lake Champlain. Our research group was small, but very productive. My sympathy to his family.

Much love and our deepest sympathies to the Simkins family. Jeff and I have such fond memories of your parents and the time we spent with them in Willsboro. Peace and healing to you all.

Tanya, Dan and Dave, Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. He is now where he wanted to be, with his Lorraine. May he rest in peace.
