Not sure what to say?

Tom, was a longtime friend and he brought me into the "M" family to provide services for the various clubs throughout the University, for that I will never forget him. He was also our family dentist for many years. He will be sorely missed by us all.

Tom was the best man i have ever met. his willingness to give is unmatched. he was a great father and will live in our hearts and mind. thank you to all that have left their thoughts.

I am so sorry to hear that Tom has passed away. I attended Redeemer Lutheran School with Tom. We were also in the same Boy Scouts Troop. So I spent a lot of time with Tom and his family evolved with scouting activities. We also, played together on Redeemers Basket Ball Team. He was so much better athlete then me and I could see he had a special gift. After I graduated from Redeemer, I did not see Tom again until I watched a Rose Bowl Game. I know that Redeemer and Saginaw was very proud of...

Andrew and Spencer: Your father was one of the greatest! He was my friend, my dentist and a person I admired and respected. I have many fond memories of our friendship that I will always keep in my heart. Your father, well he was one of the BEST!

Andrew and Spencer Slade - So sorry to hear of the passing of your father - we now reside in FL for the winter and my daughter called to tell me the news. We last saw you Dad at the UM hockey reunion weekend and talked at great length with him. For years I took my parents over to their dentist, your Dad. He also was a client of The Mail Shoppe which I owned in Ann Arbor. My brother and his wife, Jerry and Sue Barnett, are very close friends of yours too.

Indeed, he was a good...

To the Slade family

though its been years, i send my love, prayers and sympathy to you on the passing of Tom. I heard about it watching the game today. Tom and Bo in the same week. Too much. I was freshmena track man the same year Tom started and we shared several classes together. we bumped into each not that long ago and exchanged greetings. i almost died last year and I know how hard that was on my wife and two sons. trust the Lord and may His love comfort...

This goes out to all who were touched by Tom Slade's life. I ask why this week we have to lose two great men that touched the lives of many, including Michigan Football. I can only imagine the conversation above between Two Big Ten Coaches, a quaterback for Michigan, and Tom being an Official, even if it were for Basketball. God Bless the great men whom dedicated their lives for the passion they felt and lived throughout their time on earth. For you whom he loved dearly, you should be...

Hi Andrew and Spencer,
I was on the Michigan website reading about Bo's death and read your dad's obituary. I had no idea he had been ill. What a great dad and person he was! How he loved you. I remember how supportive he was when I knew your family at St. Paul's in Ann Arbor. My prayers are with you as you grieve the loss of your dad, but also know that He knew His Lord and Savior and has gone home. He will be watching the big Michigan/Ohio State game in heaven with Bo and Woody. My...

My condolences, I met Tom a couple times when my husband was on 8A after his MUD BMT. I lost my husband 10/30/06 so I will keep you in my prayers also.
