Not sure what to say?

Tom was a very close friend and we connected from the start and had many long conversations about sports, politics, business, women, children and I could go on and on. A one point we became seriously interested in becoming owners of the Birmingham Barron's AAA baseball team. Tom wanted to sell craft beer which he would make in the stadium. We played hard and worked hard. Love Tom and always will...miss him every time I think of him. My friend!

Our family is very grateful to Tom who, in 2016, generously agreed to teach Chris the wine-making business. Without Tom’s support, Terra Incognita Vineyard would not exist. In fact, the wine industry in Georgia may not exist without his advocacy with the state legislature.
Rest in peace, Tom.

What a great guy! A pioneer in the Georgia wine world and an exceptional advisor. He made a mark!

Tom was a very dear friend . . . a lifelong pal. Too bad we didn't get to see each other more frequently but we had many great times and discussions. A quick mind and a deep thinker. Lots of fun.

Tom was brilliant, wonderful, and a very interesting man. I enjoyed knowing him and working with him over the past 25 years. He will be missed.

Tom was one of the most interesting and intelligent men I have ever known. Great friend incredibly clever and loyal to his people. I will really miss him. The most deliberate man in the world will be missed by many.

So sorry to hear the news of Tom's passing. We had many fun moments together in Westover Plantation over 50 years ago. Our thoughts and prayers to the family. Leigh and Jules
