Dearest Smail Children(all of you!)
A friend just sent me the news of Tom's passing! We are in France and won't be home for another 3 weeks so all I can do is send Greg's and my love to all of you and say how GREATLY we will miss him. I got to see him this summer and tried to get a minute to see him before we left on the 5th of Sept. for France. He was so very special to both of us as is Lee. So very hard to understand how this life works!!!! All our love to all of you! ...
