Cathy and Meredith: I just got the news about Tom from my Katie. I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am to hear this. I am in Colorado and I was just thinking about the wonderful time we had with you all in Winter Park many years ago. I loved Tommy and his parents so much growing up in Conroe and the Methodist Church. Then you and I had so much fun in high school and at UT. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy and love. So sorry to hear of your passing but so grateful for the memories of knowing you and the leadership you and your fellow seniors of 69 gave our class as freshmen. You made us Tigers for life! I know that you run the trail that Christian soldiers walk. My sincerest condolences to Mrs Small one of a great legacies of the Sunday school teachers I had at First Methodist and Cathy. This is Tommy's sister-in-law who remembers him as such an energetic and enthusiastic person, always ready to share a smile or a story. He and Cathy were such a wonderful couple.
