Thomas J. Smaus

Thomas was our nearby neighbor on the farm and was always fun to talk to! His eldest daughter, Mandy, was my classmate. My father, Dave Kastl, was a farmer just as Tom was. Tom was quiet yet witty, super friendly and kind, and very comical with quite the sense of humor. Periodically he would visit with me about wrestling, farming, and often he would ask about the Kastl family. I will always remember how friendly he was and the demeanor he had. He was just a neat individual, neighbor, and man....
