Ruth Ann....my deepest sympathy in the loss of your son. He was a wonderful priest and helped so many. I'm a friend from sorority days.......you are all in my prayers. Cecelia Shedlock

I knew Fr. Smith when we were college classmates. I remember him as down-to-earth, warm, friendly, and decent. I am sure that those qualities stayed with him during his years in ministry and am equally sure he is with the God he must have served so well.

Smitty - you will be deeply missed. Our lives paths have not crossed in recent years but I still hold some wonderful memories of our years together at Borromeo. God's peace to your family.

To the Family of Father Tom:
Our condolences go out to all of you. My children attending school at St. Johns until it's closing and they were both confirmed and baptized there. We will never forget Father Tom's smile and laughter he had. He was always a pleasure to talk to and always keep you interested in his services by his story telling and punch line at the end.
He will be missed tremendously.
