I am so sad at the news of "Schmitty's" passing. I was out of town and unable to pay my respects. From the first time I met Tommy in my freshman year, I have many fond and hilarious memories. "Schmitty" was a good friend who always made a huge impression on everyone he met. He will be missed by everyone who ever knew him.
Dorothy, my deepest sympathy to you. Parents aren't supposed to bury their children, no matter how old they are. Suzie, Jimmy & Al, my heartfelt sympathies to...

Rest in Peace Smitty! You were always my favorite customer at Tops. Even though I didn't know you very well, you always made me feel special! Thank you for always brightening my Sundays. They will never be the same without you!

Life doesn't always follow a perfect path and sometimes the best gifts are priceless. Thank you Tom. I know I was always with you and may you rest in peace.

Dad,
I know its been a while since I have seen you and I am now kicking myself. I love you dearly and I know you would say the same. The best thing about my dad is that no matter what he had your back without question.
To my Aunts Uncles and Grandma I am sorry I could not make it to the services, but i have taken time off Labor day weekend to come down and say goodbye. I love you all and wish I was there.
May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be at your back, may the...

The "Gift Of Life" is so often taken for 'granted'...our family and friends, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters are "supposed" to live forever! When they're 'taken' from us, all too soon, do we mourn their passing, or celebrate their 'life'? I choose the latter, because "Smitty" did just "THAT"; celebrated each and every moment! So, here's to you, "Smitty", one more turn around the dance floor...and always getting the checkered flag!! You'll 'live' on in our hearts and minds!
