Not sure what to say?

Remembering Tom. He was truly one of a kind. Difficult to believe it has been seven years since his passing...oh the twinkle in his eyes when he would tease or tickle a child. He was truly humble and a craftsman. Bill and I talk of him often, especially when we notice brick work that is not quite up the the quality he would have installed!

Jean, I just saw this and I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Condolences to you and your family. I think so much of you and Tom was a good man! If I can do anything please let me know. God Bless you and the family at this difficult time. Hugs to you as you move forward.

God needed another Mason up in heaven to lay those golden bricks for the kingdom of heaven.

Grady,
So sorry about your Dad. Thoughts and prayers with you and your family.

Tom Spitzer assisting with UVa graduation setup May 21 2001.

When Mr. Spitzer retired from UVa Facilities Management in February 2003, his colleagues gathered to celebrate his career and near legendary status for is quality masonry and cheerful demeanor. Mr. Spitzer was crucial to the preservation of such cherished University landmarks as the serpentine walls, the herringbone brick walks and many buildings.

Jean, Tonya, Grady & family, Words are just not enough to convey how Tom's gentle smile and willing spirit touched the lives of so many, including us. We are saddened by your loss but confident in Heaven's gain. Saying goodbye over time couldn't have been easy, but we are sure that he always knew and felt your love. Please call if we can do anything for you...in a week, a month or a year. Tom will leave a large hole for a long time...may the memories of good time carry you through these...

Jean and family- thoughts and prayer to you during this time

Tom meant so much to Grant "Turbo" and Levi. We are so thankful for the time that we had with him. You will be missed and I hope that Turbo and Levi will make you proud! Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. May God be with you all at this time.

Last summer, I briefly had the privilege of working with Mr. Spitzer. He was always polite and appreciative of all things being done for him. It was a pleasure to have known him even for such a little time. My prayers are with you.
