Read MoreDr. Spooner was a young intern, (black hair) when he took out my tonsils, age 16-17, back in '70 ? Fast forward to '94. He (salt & pepper hair) removed my 3-4 yr. toddler son's tonsils. Very nice. I liked the family tradition side of it. But the ice cream in Vernor's ginger ale was the best.

Dr. Spooner removed my tonsils in 1988. I remember him as being very kind. So sorry for your loss.
