NORTH LIBERTY - Thomas A. Stachowski, 43, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, at 4:10 a.m. in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. Thomas was born on December 31, 1965, to Joseph E. and Thelma L. (Packard) Stachowski. He was preceded in death by his sister, Christine Seely, and brother-in-law, Charles Bates. He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Thelma Stachowski of North Liberty; his two sons, Anthony and Michael Stachowski of Lakeville, IN; and their mother, Lisa (Buck) Stachowski, also of Lakeville; six brothers, John (Brenda) Stachowski of Shipshewana, IN, Michael (Julie) Stachowski of New Carlisle, IN, Paul Stachowski of North Liberty, IN, Anthony (Sonal) Stachowski of Great Mills, MD, Stephen (Melanie) Stachowski of Syracuse, IN, and Joseph Stachowski of Columbus, OH; and by his four sisters, Kathleen Emerick of Goshen, IN, Diane Bates of Walkerton, Maryann Rutkowski of North Liberty, IN, and Cherylann (David) Wells of South Bend. Memorial contributions may be made to the family on behalf of Anthony and Michael Stachowski. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, July 16, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 1827 E. Ireland Road, South Bend, where a Rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. A Mass Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 17, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 225 S. Mill St., Mishawaka, IN 46544. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, South Bend. Visitation will also be from 9 to 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home prior to the Mass on Friday morning. For those who are unable to attend the funeral liturgy, condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.

Thank You all for the kind and much needed word's of sympathy and support. This has been extremely hard on my family. Without the support of family and friends and the good Lord above, this difficult time would be unbearable. Tom will be missed.
