Tom was a real gentleman and very effective manager. He did great things in the tax area for MetLife. RIP Tom.

Tom was the Best. He was a great man. He cared about all his people. He asked me at a DC Conference how I was going to cope with the The Acquisition of the Stock Life Insurance Company I was working for. I told him they were going to let me go when I completed the Federal & State Tax Returns. I was sad until he said "We will hire you, let me know when you´re available". I spent the next 25 years working for MetLife. RIP My Friend and Mentor. Never Forgotten.

Dear Viveca, I am so sorry for your loss. I knew nothing about your dad until now--and now I wish I'd known him. We will be in DC off and on through the year and look forward to conveying our condolences in person. Love from both of us.

I worked for Tom at MetLife. He was a great boss; an even better person!

I retired as head of Human Resources about the same time Tom retired as head of the Tax Department. He was a gentleman with a wry sense of humor and was widely recognized as a world class expert in his field. Condolences to his family and friends. I supported Friends of Homeless Animals in his memory.

I worked for Tom at MetLife. What a great lawyer and a wonderful man! I owe much to Tom´s mentoring and unfailing cheerfulness. I´ve given to Defenders of Wildlife in Tom´s memory. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
