Not sure what to say?

Just a reminder to all--------- There will be a Memorial for Tommy on October 13, 2007 from 2-4 PM at the Roslyn Duck Pond. It will be held in conjunction with the annual Duck Pond Reunion, where members of ALL RHS classes, faculty and administration meet. Hope to see you all there

Have you ever met anyone in your life who could make you laugh like Tom Stillman? Probably. But has anyone ever been able to talk you into doing the wackiest stuff you’ve ever done – like Tom Stillman? Many will say, “OH NO! No way!!” Did the boy live life BIG, or what? Yup, BIG he was. Did he play soccer with heart? You betcha, he did! As a freshman, he was nominated All-American by coaches in his league when he played for Pembroke State College in 1964. That’s how good he was. Great spirit!...

Dyanne,

I was so sorry to hear the sad news about Tom rather belatedly this week. Pat (formerly McCafferty) and I send our condolences and all our best wishes.

Since leaving Chilton, I've wondered about both of you many times. I always thought I'd run into Tom at some trade show or in an airport, but never did.

We had fun at Chilton and Tom was always in the thick of it, partked right at the door, in the middle of any group, battling it out toe to toe on the racquetball...

Like others, Tom (along with Cindy Macfarland, who was my cheerleader) was the guy who really gave me my big break into media sales. He WAS tough - but inspired us all to be "all that we could be".

I remember that during my final interview at Chilton (1984 for ISHN), this little 23 year old sat across from the suave and debonaire guy, and I must admit I was a bit intimidated. He picked up the brass apple paperweight on his desk, and said - "OK, LaPorte, if you think you're so good,...

I was very surprised to get the news this week-end. I was sure Tom would live forever. He had more lives than a cat. We worked on different properties but constantly swapped ideas while at Chilton. No one was more armed with new concepts and methods of selling than Tom. We kidded him about his wild left coast ideas, but they usually worked. Many of us in this business would not be as smart as we are today were in not for Tom Stillman. A lasting picture will always be the Mercedes with...

On behalf of Aunt Dy and our family, I would like to thank you for joining us to remember someone special to us all My Uncle Tommy!

Some of you may remember me as Tommy and Dy’s Best Man but for now we are here to remember, what I feel was one of the “Worlds Best Men”

At a time like this words are often hard to put together however, Audacious, Compassionate Cherished Respected Understanding and Admiration are just a few that come to my mind. Each of you I am sure has one...
