I'm not usually much of a talker, however I felt I needed to put something down here. I met Thomas via my zoology class. Although I did not know him as well as others, he was always a kind and helpful face, and he loved showing us photos of his cat. I will miss him and his amazing presence in class. May he rest in peace.

I became acquainted with Thomas as a customer/member of the Putney Coop. I thoroughly enjoyed connecting with him in the checkout line or, more recently, as he studied in the cafe. He always added gentle, sweet moments to my day when I saw him. May his soul be free of all pain and suffering. And may his family and friends find support and be held by love in the months ahead.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your loved one. Although I did not know him, my daughter Kerrigan was a classmate of his and she spoke very nicely of him. May he rest in peace, and may you all find comfort at this difficult time.

Thomas, for only knowing you these brief four months in the vet tech program, I feel like I´ve known you forever. You were so welcoming, so compassionate, so patient with everyone and every animal. You were going to do such amazing things for the veterinary community. I will forever miss seeing you as the first person to class early in the morning (somehow you always beat me there). I will miss watching the library therapy dog get a laugh out of you as she tried to chew your beard. I´ll miss...

Working nights with you at the Co-Op are some of my fondest memories; you were always so helpful and cheerful and ready to jump in for anything we needed. Thank you for the lemonade Monster (for me) and the Reese's Take 5 (for Silvan) from that Saturday night, I'll never forget how sweet you were. P.S. The pet board is staying up forever. Binx (and Veronica and Phil) will have a cherished place here in the store, and so will you, always.

You were one of my favorite people in the vet tech program. You brought us all together and you were a great role model to all of us. I always enjoyed talking to you and hoped we could become closer friends. I´m sad our time with you was cut short, but I´m glad I got to meet you and that you were able to bring joy to the people and animals around you.

I´ve never been a people person. I don´t know how to be close to other people. I don´t like a lot of people. But I really liked you. I looked forward to seeing you in class, in labs, and in the little corner of the library that always felt wrong seeing the wrong people in it and now is always going to feel wrong for not having all of the right people there. You were one of the best of us, you were going to be amazing, and I´m not sure what to do to honor that other than try to do the best I...

Thomas was a regular in the library on campus. He was always friendly and so nice to chat with. I'm so sorry, the world was brighter with him in it. Kim Hannon-Brobst
