Not sure what to say?

Dear Barbara and Family,
Patrick and I want you and your family to know that we are thinking of you at this difficult time. My family knew Tom's family since before Tom was born, and he and I started first grade together at North Industry Elementary. Was so glad to get time to visit with both of you at our Class Reunion. I know this is the time in our lives when we are getting short on time here on earth, and we can only pray that we get to where your husband is surely sitting. ...

So sorry to hear about Chaplain Stokes passing. Many good memories from Desert Storm. He helped me and many others during that time away from family. May you be comforted with peace and in your faith. SSG Carole Bolling

Barb and family,
I was so sorry to hear the passing of Tommy. We were neighbors for a long time. His experience in Holland made me want to go there and I did make it there on a tour and stayed with a family. I thought of him often.
My husband , Tex, has been hospice care since October.
Again, please give my condolences to your family.

I served with Chaplain Stokes during the Gulf war. He was a great friend and comrade during that difficult time. He will be greatly miss.

Lifting up the Stokes family as you celebrate Tom's life and legacy

I had the privilege of serving with Reverend Tom during the Gulf war and thereafter. He was a wonderful man and my time spent with him will never be forgotten.
