Joined TF Stone Co. in late 1984 when there were almost 400 employees and worked for him for 6 years. I was responsible for leasing Stone Tower which he later won back free and clear from the Federal Government. Tough times in real estate in the 80s but Tommy survived it and came back strong. My sympathies go out to his son who I recall was an outstanding soccer player at Duke. RIP Tommy.

Tommy was a friend and business partner 20 years ago. He is the only person to successfully fight the FDIC and win clear title to his high rise office building.
