Not sure what to say?

My husband and I live up by Edgar, Wisconsin. We have met Tom on numerous occasions because we have planted a Geni plot for many years. I have never known anyone with a more genuine smile who absolutely loved working with all of his growers and seed dealers. I was always amazed that even after meeting you once, he often remembered your name and where you were from. He will truly be missed.

Dear Strachota Families,
I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Tom. He was a man that I respected, admired, and appreciated. I was able to spend with him when I worked for Dairyland Seed (1983-1991).

I have some fond memories of Tom and we always had a $1 bet on the Michigan State / Notre Dame football game when I worked for the company.

My deepest sympathies.

Tom was one of my best friends in the seed industry as our family owned seed companies had a lot in common. Our wives always sought each other out at the ASTA meetings as they enjoyed talking with each other.

Tom served on several committees and leadership offices in ASTA and he will be missed.

Tom was one of my best friends in the Seed Industry as our family businesses had so much in common. Over the years we worked together on various projects and committees. Our wives always sought each other out at the American Seed Trade meetings because they enjoyed talking to each other.

This was quite a shock as Tom and I were discussing our future plans with family and our businesses at our last ASTA meeting, He will be missed by our industry.

Sonny Beck and The Beck Hybrid...

I was honored to work for Dairyland Seed and the Strachota family early in my carreer. Tom was a great role model for me demonstrating outstanding leadership, doing things the right way and putting family first. Tom talked the talk and walked the walk. When our youngest daughter Linsey was accepted to Notre Dame I looked forward the opportunity to share the news with Tom.

Our condolences

Saddened to hear about Tom's passing. I enjoyed working with him and the family in the early days of my career. The community has lost a valuable member and leader. My best to the family.
