I once said to Tommy, "you've done quite well for a kid from Bayonne". His answer was, "I'm still a kid from Bayonne. This exemplified his humility, which he maintained throughout his successful career and life. He was generous, spiritual and tons of fun. Who could forget his banjo playing, especially about Bayonne.
