Not sure what to say?

The Captain was head of pharmacy @ NRMC Sand Diego (Pink Palace) December 1970 @ which time I volunteered while on Christmas break from HM school instead of going home. Fast forward to 1986: procured the conveyor system from NRMC SD to-be installed in my pharmacy front line remodel.... @ NRMC Long Beach. He was an outstanding role model. Ron Goodnough, CDR, MSC, USN, Retired....

I miss him daily. I worked as a civil service pharmacist for him. Great man.

I just learned the news from a listing in the AMSUS Newsletter. I enjoyed serving with Tom Summerour when I was a very new MSC officer. I seem to recall being in a carpool with him for a while. A magnificent man. Larry Holman, LCDR MSC USN Retired

Summerour Family,
I will always remember your Father and Mother as two of the kindest people I ever met. I was a young HM3 in Portsmouth when we first met. I served with your Father when I finished my pharmacy degree and returned to Navy Service. He had a nickname for me. He always called me Punky. What great memories I have of the Summerour family.
John B. "Punky" Walker

Jeff and Family: My sincere condolences on the passing of your father.
