As a graduate assistant I worked for Tom during the 1970-71 school year. He was a great advisor and guiding me through a tough first graduate year. RIP

I never heard Tom say either an unkind or self aggrandizing word. He was very generous with his time and use of his teaching and listening skills.

I worked with Tom in a long-ago campaign to elect Bill Durston, and spent time with him in Gray Panthers and the Older Women's League. `He made it a point to participate on every important issues campaign. He was tireless, in spite of his illnesses.
He will be missed.
