Not sure what to say?

Tom was one of a kind, he truly loved what he did and it showed every time he produced a show and submitted a new story to the library of Congress. He will be truly missed by all who had the good fortune to know him. R.I.P. Tom

Tom was a mainstay at our Hellriegel's Veterans Pearl Harbor Remembrance dinner held every December 7th.
We looked forward to him being there looking for WW II veterans
in attendance that he might interview.
It's been reported that Tom submitted the most entries to the Library of Congress for their Veterans Oral History project.
We'll miss him this December 7th.

Noreen and Mike, I am so terribly sorry for your loss. While I only got to meet Tom once, I really enjoyed hearing about the work that he did preserving the memories of WWII veterans. He created quite a legacy of his own while helping veterans share theirs.

Noreen and Mike I'm so sorry to learn of the passing of your husband and father. You are in my thoughts during this difficult time. If there's anything I can do to help please let me know.

I bestow sincere condolences to Tom's wife Noreen, son Mike, and all of his family.

I won't forget him and feel it is fitting he should leave us on the original...
