I remember Tom for his work on the Polariscope Project at the University of Arizona, and for his kind help when I needed to use the electron microscope in my research. I'm sure he helped many others and touched many lives in planetary science research. May he rest in peace.

My family (that of Sarah Kuiper Roth Lansberg) and I enjoyed knowing Tom and his family at the UU Church. What a kind, humble man! I saw him last just now in January. His life was a blessing to the community. He will be missed!
