THOMAS L. THOMSEN Sr.

Thomas passed away in Fresno, Ca. on Wednesday, August 21, 2013. He was born on July 8, 1941, in Livermore, Ca. to Sigurd and Ruth Thomsen. He graduated from Amador High School and joined the U.S. Army for two years. Thomas was a third generation farmer for over 50 years in Tracy, Ca. and on the Westside of Fresno County, California. He was 72 years old. Thomas was a member of the Danish Lodge and Elks Lodge. He enjoyed spending his free time with his family, traveling and watching racing and sports. He is preceded in death by both of his parents; two brothers; and son, Thomas L. Thomsen, Jr "Buster". He is survived by his wife Millie Thomsen of Kerman, Ca.; daughters, Joanne Gomez and family of Kerman, Ca., Kelly Smith and family of Selma, Ca., Mandy Grouleff and family of Kerman, Ca., and Lisa Costa and family of Kerman, Ca.; brothers, Allen Thomsen and family of Firebaugh, Ca., and Kenneth Thomsen and family of Tracy, Ca.; sister, Kathy Thomsen and family of Tracy, Ca.; six grandsons; and two granddaughters; and numerous relatives. A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Palm Memorial Funeral Chapel in Kerman, Ca. A Service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace and Truth Assembly of God at 2930 North Madera Avenue, Kerman, Ca.
