I was so sorry to hear about Tommy/Rusty. He was always a favorite of his cousin Gloria, my mother. My memories go back to St. Margaret Mary when he was Captain of the Monitors the year I was in first grade. I bragged about my cousin a lot that year. My thoughts are with you Janet. So sorry to be so tardy. We are in Florida and I just heard.

My deepest sympathy to you, Janet, and your family, may God bless all of you. Tom was a great guy who was good enough to take the time to mentor me at the start of my career when we worked together at E.F. Hutton as young men. He was instrumental with developing a strong and productive work ethic with everyone fortunate enough to work with and have him as a friend. I never forgot about Tom's help with the start of my 48 year career on Wall Street. He will be missed by whomever he touched.

He was always full of fun and always ready to play a joke. We go back to the old days when dad had the hotel and Barbara and I used to go there after school and have potato chips and soda. He may have been my dad Danny's good friend but he became my dear friend too.
