I had the good fortune of getting to know Mr Ticen as a legal represenative. never will I forget his kindness, his tone of voice in comforting my family through a terrible time in our lives. His compassion was truely appreciated. I ran into him a couple weeks back at the VA and his humor, joy ,laughter and quick wit brought a smile to us both.may God keep your family in his loving arms

Dear Gayle and Family,
I am so sorry to learn of Tom's illness and passing. I have many
fond memories of working with him when the Government Center was new. Tom often spoke to groups of visitors touring the building and was the most wonderful public speaker. His great intelligence and sense of humor charmed everyone. My thoughts are with you all. Love, Becky

Mary, Joanne, & Tom,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have many memories of spending time with your family and campaigning for your dad when we were kids. One memory I have never forgotten is when the new government building downtown had the grand opening. Mary, you invited me to go with you and your family. I remember sitting in your dads new chair, that was bigger than us, behind a huge desk, when a person from a news station came in with a camera. I felt so important and special to...

JoAnn, Mary and Tom:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Although it has been a number of years since we shared the Southwood neighborhodd with one another, those are trasured times. The memories and friendships last a lifetime!

Gayle and rest of family- My heart goes out to you. You are in Elizabeth and my prayers. Tom was one of a kind- they truly broke the mold when they birthed him. I so enjoyed our years together on the County Board. We had this thing going about words or phrases that sounded like something else. For example- Bananas Foster is a prizefighter. One time- in Miami Beach, I asked for less Cassis in my Chablis. Quicker that you can wink, Ticen shot back, "Didn't he wrestle Vern Gagne?" I will always...

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Sorry for your loss, Jane and I will not be able to attend the celebration of Tom's life, but we will be with you in out thoughts. We pray that the memories will help you through this very difficult time.
God bless,

Gary, Jane, Jamie and Jack
