Read MoreMr. Tift was my math teacher at Hoover High (1960-1970) for 2 years in a row as well as our Student Government advisor. I will always remember his humanity, humor and deep humanitarian convictions. His extreme distress over the death of RFK still haunts me to this day. He taught all of us what was important in life.

Mary....I won't go into detail because you know the special bond Tom & I shared for 58 years. From our first meeting on the tennis court in 1953 to our last meeting the last week in Oct. Even tho we won't be there on the11th, you know we will be there in spirit. Please give our best to Tom's family.
