Tollefson, Thomas A. age 79, of Elk River, formerly of Bloomington, on Dec. 31, 2008. Survived by wife, Audrey; children, Thomas Jr. (Elaine), Steven, Peter and Lisa; grandchildren, Thomas III and Stacy; great-granddaughter, Layla; brothers and sisters. Interment Dawn Valley Memorial Park. Funeral service 1:00 PM Monday, Jan. 5 with visitation one hour prior to service all at: Washburn-McReavy Dawn Valley Chapel 952-941-7686 9940 Bush Lake Rd., Bloomington

To Tom's family:

Tom worked for my father, Gil, at Phillips manufacturing for many years. I had the privilege of working with Tom during the summers of my high school years. I will always remember Tom for his fun sense of humor, tremendous strength and strong work ethic. As the saying goes, "They broke the mold after Tom." I know if Gil were able (he is now 91 and in a nursing home) he would express the same sentiments, probably commenting on Tom's strong faith and loyalty as...
