Thomas "Tom" A. Rehm, 91, St. Joseph, Missouri; passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.


Tom was born on August 1, 1932 in St. Joseph, Missouri, to the late Adam "Tony" and Catherine (Salanky) Rehm.  He was a lifelong St. Joseph resident and a 1950 graduate of Christian Brothers High School.


Mr. Rehm served his country in the US Navy as an electronics technician from 1951-1955, during the Korean Conflict.


Tom married Helen Cobb on July 5, 1954 at St. Joseph Cathedral.  They celebrated sixty-nine years of marriage.


Mr.  Rehm retired from Pepsi-Cola after thirty-six years of dedicated service.  He started as a route driver and spent his last fifteen years as branch manager.


Tom was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and was a Third Degree and forty-nine year member of Knights of Columbus Council #571.  He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid bowler and even  bowled a perfect 300 game.


Tom is survived by his wife, Helen, of the home; five children Charlie (Lisa) Rehm; Linda (Raymond) Karleskint; Julie (Randy) Moran; Mike (Cecelia) Rehm; and Stacy (Jeff) Stevens;  seven grandchildren, Kyle Rehm, Ritchie Karleskint, Jennifer Karleskint, Jessica Harrington, Amy Patterson, Brittanie Harrington and Hanna Rehm and seventeen great-grandchildren.


In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his sister, Sr. Patricia Rehm.


Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Tuesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Interment Frazier #6 Cemetery.


Visitation will be held after 12:00 PM Monday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, where a Rosary will be held at 6:00 PM Monday with family to receive friends following 6:30 to 8:00 PM.


The family would like to extend their gratitude to Heidi and Missy, with Mosaic Hospice, for their exceptional care.


In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church or Mosaic Hospice.
