MR. Toman inspired me when I was so young at Windsor elementary school. He made me a an athlete . He was always so full of energy and inspiring, he gave me the presidential award. He helped me out from underneath is car when I passed out after receiving an immunization shot in the gym. His car was parked right outside the gym doors. He was a great person and I will never forget him. As a matter of fact this is 51 years before I write this ... I just had a dream of him last night and...

Tom Toman can be described in one word, dedicated. His passion for teaching, education, creativity and sport were evident in his profession. Having remembered him in physical education classes at Windsor Elementary and him being good friends with my dad, he is someone I always admired for his energy and enthusiasm and getting students to do their very best every time he taught them. Tommy was a great guy and an excellent umpire who I always looked forward to having him as an umpire. He was well known for saying Yes he did, Yes he did when a batter thought he had checked his swing but Tommy said differently!Thanks for being Tommy
