Byles Memorial Home - New London Obituary

THOMAS E. TOTH, JR  age 48 of Groton passed away Monday night, November 19,2018 at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London after a short battle with cancer.


Thomas was born, January 9, 1970 in Skowhegan, ME the son of Pamela Mathieu Toth of Solon, ME and the late Thomas E. Toth, Sr.    He is survived by his wife Kerry Champagne whom he married May 8, 1993 in Groton.


Besides his wife and mother he is survived by two daughters, Meghan and Cassidy Toth of Groton his son Joshua Bickel of Cranston, RI his sister, Pauline Rancourt of Oakland, ME, his in laws Robert and Phyllis Champagne of Groton, Russell Champagne of Groton, Suzanne Eusebio of Florida and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother George Toth.


Thomas was employed as a pastry chef at UCONN in Storrs as well as other establishments including Mohegan Sun.


He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and friend to all.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 3 until 5 o’clock at the Byles-Groton Memorial Home, 310 Thames St. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 29, from 3 until 5 at the Par Four Restaurant at Shennecossett Golf Course, Plant St, Groton. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 238 West Town St, Norwich, CT 06360

From 9th grade when we met to the day we meet again. We will always be friends. Lots of good times and memories throughout the years.
