Not sure what to say?

Tom was our friend and my early morning running buddy for many years when we lived in Durham. He was such a vivacious and sweet guy. Love to Ben and Abby.

I worked with Tom for a few years and knew him as a bright, intelligent and thoughtful person. So much personality! And so many stories ... all of which pale in comparison to the love and admiration he shared for his kids. Abby and Ben: you were his world, and he loved you with all his might throughout all of life's changes and challenges. Wishing you peace, and the comfort of happy memories.

I met Tom in 1974 and we worked together and were friends until we both retired. He was a very intelligent, funny man who was very competent in his job. I have many Tom Uhrich stories over the years but I am so saddened that this terrible disease ripped the years since he retired away from him. He talked about his kids all the time and loved them dearly.

Tom was a friend and fellow NTEU Member. I learned so much from Tom and his experience as a chapter leader. He truly cared about his co-workers and was a strong advocate for them. He was also a good friend. Rest in peace.

Worked with Tom for many years at IRS. He was such a sweet, kind man, always willing to help you with anything. The world will miss his sweet smile. So glad you are at peace my friend.

Tom was a coworker at the IRS. We talked many times about life's success and of course our oops moments. He was a kind hearted soul who truly loved people, his children and of course UNC. We laughed together and he always found a way to share the good things about life. Rest in peace My friend. Sending prayers for comport to his family

So sorry to hear about Tom's passing. As kids we spent a lot of time together and I have a lot of fond memories of him. He was always very compassionate. Prayers are sent to his children at this time. He was a special cousin and I will always remember his gentle spirit.
