We continue to miss his smile and the warm greeting that always awaited us, and others, upon arrival at West End. Tom was one of a kind and will continue to live on in our hearts.

We continue to remember Tom. He truly was a fine, caring and well respected man, who was a friend to so many! Continue to RIP.

My heartfelt condolences to the Untermann family, friends, staff and the Marin community that loved and supported West End and were drawn in by Tom's wonderful ways and knowledge of plants. I live in Novato and travel down for special purchases and just to hear from Tom on plant life. He was always so welcoming. He helped me last in the late summer of 2020 when I was looking for a tree. Tom and I had a good chuckle when I was leaving a voice message saying I kept missing the revised nursery...
